It was founded in September 2011 by Raymundo Rivera, with the vision of entertaining and captivating audiences throughout the area from Rio Grande City to Brownsville, Texas. Since its beginnings, Mariachi Sol Azteca has stood out for its energy, vocal quality, and entertaining value. The group is available to play at weddings, quinceaneras, and other events.
